St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than in Boston! After a 2-year hiatus, the beloved South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns on Sunday, March 20, 2022!

The Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade is held each year on the Sunday closest to March 17. This year’s parade falls on, Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 1pm. Each year, spectators gather to celebrate their Irish routes down in Southie. The parade features a mix of bagpipes, marching bands, elaborate floats, military units, dancers, historic Minutemen companies, and more!
This year, due to the challenges caused by the pandemic, the parade will follow a shorter route than previous years. It will start at Broadway T Station and will continue down the entirety of Broadway, ending at Farragut road. View the Boston St. Patrick’s Parade route for complete details.
