There are so many great C&J rider stories, and we’re always honored to hear from the people who make our service and work in the community possible. What we really love to hear is why our riders choose C&J in the first place, and why they continue to ride with us through the years. Today, we’re happy to share one of those stories with you.
For Karla, a longtime Seacoast resident and C&J rider, knowing that she can count on our buses to be where they need to be when they need to be is a great comfort. That’s especially true because Karla, like many of our riders, uses C&J to get her to Logan Airport to start her trips without having to deal with Boston’s infamous traffic.
“The reliability is important. I know when I travel with C&J, if the bus is supposed to leave at 2:30, the bus is going to leave at 2:30,” she said. “I like always being able to count on that.”
Traveling to NYC & Service
One of Karla’s most recent and memorable trips was aboard the NYC service, which she took last year to enjoy the city with her daughter Saying it was “quicker than flying,” Karla spoke of the benefits of enjoying snacks, entertainment options and comfortable seats aboard C&J and arriving at the Port Authority Bus Terminal just two blocks away from their ultimate destination, rather than needing to take a ride-sharing option or taxi from the airport.
“It took us right into the heart of the city,” she said. “It was a great experience.”
She said beyond the reliability and the many perks of the NYC service, customer service is a big part of why she continues to use C&J to travel. From drivers to terminal employees to customer service representatives in touch with information about service changes, Karla says she always has positive experiences with staff, and that has not changed over the last 20 years.
“I’ve always just felt very taken care of,” Karla said.
