The 19th Annual Caring & Sharing Food Drive will be held November 16 – 18 at the Dover Hannaford on Central Avenue. Caring & Sharing is the Seacoast’s largest food drive – providing meals to hundreds of area residents who might not otherwise have enough to eat.
Non-perishables food items and money in the form of gift cards will be accepted all benefiting 21 local charities in the Seacoast to help with the holidays.
C&J Bus Lines is once again teaming up with our friends at Federal Savings Bank to help make this year’s Caring & Sharing food drive a success. Not only are both organizations sponsoring the events, but our teams will be on-site donating their time to help with the can drive. On top of that, as an extra incentive to help increase can donations, C&J and Federal Savings Bank have generously agreed to donate fifty cents for each non-perishable food item dropped off at Caring and Sharing headquarters during the morning hours of Friday, November 16.
We challenge all local businesses and community members to participate. Every can counts!
Donations will be accepted at a number of Hannaford locations throughout the Seacoast, including both locations in Rochester, the Central Ave and Grapevine Dr. locations in Dover, and the Hannaford in Exeter and North Berwick.
So take a minute to clean out your cabinets and swing by a participating Hannaford location near you. Every single donation helps local families to put food on the table this winter.
