C&J has recently donated $12,000 to The Dover Triangle Club, a local nonprofit that provides a safe, chemical-free environment for those seeking recovery from addictions. This donation goes toward the Triangle Clubs continued fundraising efforts for building enhancements.
“We are proud to support the very important work that the Triangle Club provides our community,” says Jim Jalbert, President of C&J Bus Lines. “Our goal is to help lessen the financial burden so the Triangle Club can continue to focus their efforts toward helping those in our area get the recovery they need.”
The Triangle Club continues to fundraise for additional improvements to their building as part of their commitment to expanding their recovery offerings to the Seacoast community. The Triangle Club is hosting an upcoming fundraising event at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth on Tuesday, May 7 and we encourage you to attend and support them!
Faces of Hope event is a moving evening focused on raising awareness about addiction in our community and exploring ways we can all help to fight the growing epidemic. Attendees will learn about how opiates, alcohol, and other substances are affecting our community, as well as the detrimental effects of the stigmas associated with addiction.
The thought-provoking Faces of Hope photography exhibit by the talented local artist Michael Winters, will be on display in the Lobby Gallery, featuring people whose lives have been affected by the pain of addiction.
With art, storytelling, discussion, and community, the Triangle Club hopes to reduce the stigma of addiction and provide connection to recovery and beyond. Together, we can help those around us recover. Buy your ticket here.
The Triangle Club is open all day, seven days a week, and currently holds over 60 meetings each week. Each day 200 – 250 people gather at the Triangle Club and that number continues to grow. The club provides a safe, chemical-free space to assist individuals in recovery, focusing on the importance of building relationships and life-saving community bonds. Meetings include Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and HA meetings as well as family support groups. The Triangle Club held New Hampshire’s first HA meeting in February of 2015 and has been holding AA and other recovery meetings since 1984.
